Peningkatan Kapasitas Guru melalui Workshop Pengembangan Modul Ajar Kreatif dan Inovatif

Abstract

Teacher capacity development is an essential effort to improve the quality of
learning and support the professional competence of educators. This community
empowerment program aims to enhance teachers’ abilities through a workshop on
developing creative and innovative teaching modules. The activity was carried out
to address the challenges faced by teachers in designing learning materials that
are attractive, contextual, and aligned with students’ needs. The implementation
method used a participatory training approach consisting of several stages,
including preparation, presentation of materials, discussion, practical
development of teaching modules, and evaluation. The workshop focused on
strengthening teachers’ understanding of teaching module components, learning
design strategies, integration of technology, and the development of creative
learning activities. The results showed that the workshop contributed to improving
teachers’ competence in preparing systematic, innovative, and student-centered
teaching modules. Participants demonstrated increased knowledge and skills in
creating learning resources that support active, meaningful, and enjoyable
learning experiences. In addition, teachers became more confident in applying
creative approaches and utilizing digital tools to enrich the learning process. The
program also encouraged collaboration among teachers in sharing ideas and
developing sustainable learning innovations. Therefore, the workshop on
developing creative and innovative teaching modules can be considered an
effective strategy for strengthening teacher capacity and improving the quality of
education. This community service activity is expected to provide continuous
benefits for teachers in developing professional skills and creating adaptive
learning environments.
