The growth of the ASEAN halal industry remains uneven despite rising demand for halal products and
wider use of digital technology. A research gap appears because the relationship between digitalization,
artificial intelligence readiness, and halal exports has rarely been examined using cross-country data.
This study aims to analyze the effect of digitalization and artificial intelligence readiness on halal
industry growth in Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines
during 2019–2024. Secondary data consisting of 36 observations were analyzed using multiple linear
regression and classical assumption tests presented in an SPSS-like format. The results show that the
model is feasible because the F test is significant with a Sig. value of 0.004 and a coefficient of
determination of 0.287. Digitalization has a significant effect on halal exports with a negative direction,
while artificial intelligence readiness shows a positive marginal effect at the 10 percent level. These
findings imply that technology improvement should be supported by institutional readiness, human
resource quality, and halal supply chain integration so its contribution to exports becomes stronger.
