This study examines the role of science as the foundation for the development of civilization from the perspective of the Qur’an and Hadith. It aims to highlight the significance of knowledge and scientific inquiry in shaping human life, social progress, and moral development. In Islamic teachings, science is not merely a means of acquiring information but also a pathway to understanding divine guidance and fulfilling human responsibilities as Allah’s vicegerents on earth. This research employs a qualitative method with a library research approach. Data were collected through the analysis of relevant Qur’anic verses, Hadiths, books, and scholarly articles related to the concept of science and civilization. The data were then analyzed descriptively and thematically to obtain a comprehensive understanding of the relationship between knowledge, faith, and human development. The findings reveal that science plays a central role in fostering intellectual growth, strengthening faith, and promoting ethical behavior. Furthermore, science contributes significantly to the advancement of civilization by encouraging innovation, critical thinking, and social welfare. The study concludes that science, faith, and righteous deeds are interconnected elements that collectively support the creation of a balanced, progressive, and sustainable civilization
